Information You Choose to Provide to Us

If you use our Services, purchase our Products, or otherwise interact with us (including, without limitation, on social media, via phone, or at events) we collect personal information that you provide to us, such as when you create an account, make a purchase, request customer support, subscribe to our email list, or apply for a job. This personal information may include your name, email address, billing or shipping address, telephone number, payment method information, business name, title or position, a resume and/or cover letter, and any other information you choose to submit to us. If you use our Products, we may also ask that you provide additional information via our Services, such as information regarding your Wi-Fi network, to enable certain Product functionality.

In addition to personal information that you provide to us, we and our service providers may use analytics tools and other technologies, including third-party technologies, to collect certain information automatically when you use our Services, purchase our Products, or otherwise interact with us, including, without limitation, the following types of information:

In addition, we may collect personal information about you from other sources, such as if you are invited to use our Services by another users, to verify your identity for fraud prevention purposes and/or from a marketing or sales partner of ours. How We Use Personal Information

    • We use third parties to help us operate our Services, offer our Products, or otherwise assist us in our processing activities, as described above. How We Protect Personal Information

We use a variety of physical, administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure. Despite these precautions, no data security safeguards can guarantee security. In the event that any information under Company’s control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Company will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised, and take other steps in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Your Choices

Account Information

You may be able to review, update, correct, or delete the personal information provided in your registration for our Services or that you otherwise provided to us by accessing the profile in your account or by contacting us at info@korrus.com. Please note that we may still retain certain personal information as required by applicable law or our retention policies.

Cookies

You may be able to opt out of certain data collection using cookies or similar technologies through the settings on your browser. Please note that your choice(s) may apply only to the browser or device you are using when you opt out, that we do not control how other parties manage their opt-out processes, and that if you disable cookies, some features of our Services might not function properly. Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a type of privacy preference signal that may allow you to opt out of online tracking. Currently, our Services do not respond to DNT signals.

Promotional Communications

You may choose to opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us. Please click the “Unsubscribe” link in the email we sent you to stop receiving such marketing communications. Even if you opt-out of receiving marketing communications, we may still communicate with you regarding security and privacy issues, servicing your account, fulfilling your requests, or administering any promotion or any program in which you may have elected to participate.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Information

We retain information for as long as necessary for the purpose for which such information was collected or for other legitimate business purposes, including to meet our legal, regulatory, or other compliance obligations and to provide the Products and Services to you and others. We may also retain information as necessary to comply with the law, prevent fraud, collect fees, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce our agreements and take other actions permitted by law. The personal information we retain will be handled following this Privacy Policy.

Information connected to you that is no longer necessary or relevant to provide our Services may be de-identified or aggregated with other non-personal data.

Location Of Processing

We are headquartered in, and collect, use, and otherwise process personal information we collect or otherwise receive about you primarily in the United States but certain of our employees and service providers reside and/or operate in other jurisdictions and your personal data may be stored in or accessed from multiple countries. Whenever we transfer personal information to other jurisdictions, we will ensure that the information is transferred in accordance with this Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable data protection laws.

Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Others: We engage others to provide analytics services via our websites, and to serve advertisements on our behalf on other websites and online services. These entities use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers and other technologies to collect information about your use of our websites and other websites and online services, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in apps, links clicked and conversion information. This section provides additional disclosures for and details about rights afforded to residents of certain US states, which may include California consumers under the California Consumer Privacy Act or “CCPA,”, as well as the California Privacy Rights Act or “CPRA”, Colorado residents under the Colorado Privacy Act or “CPA”, Connecticut residents under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act or “CTDPA”, Oregon residents under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act or “OCPA”, and Virginia residents under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act or “VCDPA.”

  • Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete personal data about you.
  • Free from Discrimination: You have the right to not be discriminated against for exercising any of your rights.
  • Opt-Out of Sale of Your Personal Information: We do not sell the personal information we collect, within the meaning of any state laws. We will not sell personal information in the future without changing this policy and providing any residents of California or other applicable states the right to opt out of such sales.
  • Opt-Out of Sharing of Your Personal Information/Targeted Advertising: We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for cross-contextual behavioral advertising (i.e. “sharing” within the meaning of the CCPA) or otherwise use personal information we collect from you for purposes of targeted advertising (within the meaning of other state laws). We will not “share” or otherwise use your personal information for targeted advertising in the future without changing this policy and providing any residents of California and other applicable states the ability to opt out of such sharing or use.

  • Limit: At this time, we do not collect “sensitive personal information” within the meaning of the CCPA. If we ever do so, you have the right to limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information about you.
  • Appeal: If you reside in Virginia, you have the right to appeal any refusal by Company to take action on a request to exercise the rights afforded to you under the VCDPA within a reasonable period of time. We will inform you in writing of any action taken or not taken in response to your appeal, along with a written explanation of the reasons for our decisions. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Virginia Attorney General to submit a complaint.

Advertising/Analytics: Please note that we may use cookies and related technologies set by other companies for other types of advertising and analytics, as further described in the “Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Others” section above. However, based in part on how we’ve configured their technologies, these companies have committed to only use the data they receive via our products and services for the limited business purpose of providing services to us.

European Economic Area (“EEA”), United Kingdom (“UK”), and Switzerland

This section provides additional disclosures for and details about rights afforded to residents of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland:

Controlling Entity and Legal Bases

Company is the data controller of your personal information. We process information about you under the following legal bases:

  • Contract: We use information about you to fulfill our contractual obligations to you, such as to provide our products and services, deliver devices you purchase, provide customer service, or fulfill other transactions like processing returns.
  • Legitimate Interest: We also use information about you when we have a legitimate interest in doing so, such as to help secure and improve our products and services, detect and prevent fraud, and analyze how you use our products and services and how our products and services perform.
  • Legal Obligation: We may be required to use information about you to comply with our legal obligations, such as to communicate with you about product safety issues or provide other legally required notices.
  • Consent: We may ask for consent to use information about you for specific purposes. If we do, know that you can withdraw your consent at any time. Even if we are not relying on consent to use information about you, we may still provide you with choices or ask your permission before conducting a specific processing activity.


International Transfers: We are headquartered and receive and process information about you in the United States, which may not provide equivalent levels of data protection as your home jurisdiction.
